Scrapbooking from the Inside Out... GIVE AWAY!!!

Hi, this is Nancy Doren, guest-blogging all the way from Colorado! I’m a lucky scrapper because I get to be on two amazing design teams: GCD Studios and Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. Sometimes these companies intersect and when they do, I’m in heaven!

Scrapbooking from the Inside Out is a kit club and online community with a unique focus: emotion-based kits. GCD Studios papers are full of possibility. Most GCD Studios papers are design-based rather than thematic. This makes them perfect for scrapbooking emotions... you can choose a paper based on color, design, or icon without being limited by a specific theme. This month’s emotion at SFTIO is Yearning, so we selected several papers from the GCD line Debonair for our kits. The Debonair line evokes thoughts of travel and journeys, perfect for the idea of yearning. I used Debonair paper to decorate some envelopes (and cards to put in them) and loved the exotic flair it gave my project:



GCD Studios papers make amazing backgrounds. One of my favorite things about our papers is the reverse side, or the “B” side of the paper. The back side of GCD Studios papers features a coordinating color in a solid or small print, perfect for creating backgrounds. I used the reverse side of some Debonair paper to make a lattice-like background for my “Sunshine” page. I love how the paper evokes woven straw mats you might find on the beach:
