Dec 2nd project:
Christmas is all about...
Just about everyone sends out a "family Christmas card"... with a sweet family photo tucked inside. Why do we do this??? It's a fun update of our family...right?!
Most of the time "we scrappers", scrap Christmas morning photos and being with family & friend, but we often forget to scrap about our "Christmas card photos".
Tips:
- This year take the time to scrap your Christmas card photos.
- Tell the story behind it.
- Was it an easy photo to come by?
- or a hard photo to come by?
- Did you match every ones clothes?
It's these little moments that are easy forgotten and should be documented.

Woo Hoo! Such a great kit! I am really excited this December beacuse I was laid off from my job (that's not the exciting part), which is giving me time to be with my family and really enjoy the holidays, and savor each and every moment! That IS the exciting part! :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat I'm most excited about this December is the look on my little son's face everytime he gets to explore some new part of the holidays. Right now, we're working on understanding some decorations are just for looking; while others are safe to touch. He's starting to "get" Santa; and the more spiritual aspects of the holidays as well. His wonder and delight make it all worthwhile.

ReplyDeletewhat I'm excited about this December is that my husband is back to work full time and doing really well and that his father is with us for one more year! he has been battling cancer, stage 5 and doing really well. After those two things...i am excited for my son and i to make our gingerbread train...it is our special tradition to do together.

ReplyDeleteWhat I am excited about this december is having my family all home for the holidays. Our family has been away from eachother for 9 years and we have finally reconnected. Under no circumstances should anything come between you and family. A Family is a one of the strongest bonds in life and no one should break that. I am so glad everyone knows how to forgive. This December will be about making new memories with our family.

I love December for many ones, but my favorite 2 are Christ's birthday and Im lucky enough to share this month with him as well for my birthday.

What I'm excited about this December is that I'll actually have presents to unwrap at my birthday and Christmas! DH and I have not been giving each other presents which means that I can buy for myself but it means no presents to unwrap which can be depressing. I bought myself something so he could wrap it and give it to me. We're sad, I know! LOL!

Small, cozy by a fire with elk all around and a Grandma and Grandpa very close by. Maybe even snow(likely)!! The kids can't wait and that makes me excited too! Packing the boots, hats and gloves!

ReplyDeleteThis set looks fabulous and those pages look fantastic- those kids are soooo cute - I'm excited this Christmas to be able to have all my grandchildren here for Christmas day- I now have 6 grandchildren 3 years and under- they are all so cute and I love it with them all around- after the last part of this year it's something to be looking forward to as DH had a heart attack in August and was retrenched in October- now he's unemployed.
