before we start listing all the new girls I wanted to thanks the leaving DT gals again for a great year. They helped our company and blog grow and without them it wouldn't be possible to have such a great blog.

Oh Happy Day Friday!

Thank goodness it's Friday!

Today I have the Oh Happy Day collection to share and you can see why I named it that. I'm a fan of bright and happy colors :) 

When we sent it off to the DT gals to work with, I was over joyed when I saw the projects! The projects were filled with great photos and wonderful cards... oh my! Yep- this was cloud 9 for me!

Another busy day at GCD

 We are almost ready for the new DT announcement. Which  takes place on Monday, March 12th. We will be doing give aways and lots of other fun stuff.

We now have only 3 more days of CHA goodies to share and then it's good by CHA winter 2012. 

Right now our designers and myself are working on new collections that might be coming out this summer. Yes... we just might be at CHA :)

The calls went out for the DT

We have talked it through and the calls actually went out yesterday.

I know that it was early and I said that we were going to do the calls on the "9th", but every year it's rush...rush and this year I wanted to give the new team time to get paper work, photos and bios back to me. 

The team will be announced on...

Today I have the CHA work using Splendor. I LOVE THIS collection and I love the designer even more. Heather Tozzi is a dear friend of mine and I truly love our chats while we work on upcoming GCD stuff.

Sweet Tooth

Just a little Country Charm from CHA

The weather was 88 degrees in Southern California yesterday. When weather comes around like that in March.... it's 100% welcomed. I think almost anyone would feel this way.

Feeling all summery and playing with the boys in the backyard (on the grass), I knew that I should start our CHA blogging week with Country Charm. It's colors and fun patterns scream summer. Don't you think so?! Can't you see yourself using this for fun summer layouts and cards?

Design Team Up Date:

The design team call is now closed. Thanks to everyone that submitted. I have looked through more than half of them and there is some amazing talent there. I'm so excited to take this to the team

Calls will be going out this week

DT call ends at midnight tonight

Good Saturday everyone,

It's been a fun month looking at all the applications and getting them ready for the team to look at. Today is the last day to submit your entry for the DT call and the cut off is at Midnight.

EXCITING NEWS-
starting in the month of April we are no longer doing a news letter, but are now doing a e-magazine. It's called The Paper Cut. I'm so jazzed about it because we have been working really hard on it. It's packed with fun and fresh ideas. If you are already signed up for the news letter, you don't need to sign up for it. If you are not signed up for the news letter, simply send an email here saying "I want the e-mag". Inthestudio@gcdstudios.com

Our blog will also be going through many changes, just like our new header and online site. So make sure you visit around the end of March and the 1st week of April.

DT Announcements-
The call ends tonight and on March 9th I will be personally calling the new team members. I love this time so much. Then on March 12th, we will be announcing it here on the blog :)

Today I have a quick project to share by our returning DT gal Elizabeth C

She used our new collection call Splendor. Isn't it so pretty?! I just love how talented she is and she rocked this collections, just like she does with every project turned in :)

All this next week I'll be showing all our DT's work from our CHA booth. It's such pretty stuff and I know you'll all love it.
