Hi there! Heidi V.

Here to share a few of my CHA projects. I gotta tell you, I am soooo excited about these new collections!
First up is a card I made with the Material Girl collection.
This line is all about girlie fun, all the hearts, hugs and kisses were perfect for creating a Valentine.
How about a masculine card?
The Great Outdoors collection was perfect for making a guy card.
I so LOVE everything about the Funhouse collection!
Look how perfect that Peacock Chip Art alphabet works with it.
I fell in love with this elephant from the Animal Crackers Boy collection as soon as I saw it.
There are so many fun things to paper piece in these collections.
Animal Crackers Girl features the same motifs as the coy collection, but with girl appropriate pinks.

More Melody Ross goodness with the Soul Food Collection.
I just HAD to fussy cut that girl with the daisies.
OK, and this is shocking for me, I created a mini album!
I used the Chip Art tools and the Soul Food collection, and really, had a ton of fun making this!
Here are some detail shots from the inside. I didn't have my photos in yet when I took these...sorry.

Well, what do you think? Are you getting excited to play with some of these?

More fun CHA projects

Hello! It's Leslie back to share the layouts I created with the new products that debuted for the CHA Winter show. I was assigned to do three layouts from the Soul Food, Animal Crackers for Boys and Great Outdoors lines.

All of my layouts were created with only the paper and chipart tools (The
embellishments, which are truly the some of the best I've seen, weren't ready for
the shipments to the designers.)

The papers in the Great Outdoors collection are perfect for all outdoor activities, but I have a feeling some of the "B" sides are going to be my "go to" backgrounds for any occasion. Lots of fabulous grid paper like the one I used here...LOVE!

I fussy cut the pieces and added Liquid Glass to make them look like epoxy stickers. I also used the the Chip Art tools to embellish my "wooden plaque" I created out of chipboard. I used a similar paint technique to the one I previously described here.

The next layout using the uber fun and floral Soul Food line by Melody Ross was the perfect backdrop to this favorite photo of my daughter.

I love how the chipboard frame came out and I can't wait to add some of these chipboard words and little bits to this one!

For the Animal Crackers for Boys layout I got to play around with photos of my adorable little cousins!!

The patterns Rob and Bob came up with are fun and fresh and I can definitely see lots of great layouts coming from this collection. My daughter is just crazy over this monkey!! I'll have to guard this lace cut paper and all the embellishments. ;)

I painted a simple shape of chipboard and embellished it with the Chip Art heart shape. Super sweet, right?

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to work with these and all the new collections more!!

Oh, and I can't forget out two hairy-babies, Max & Lilly Belle.

Clare Prezzia
BLOG

Hiya! My name is Clare and I'm a small-town, homebody papercrafter living in beautiful western Pennsylvania. I have been cardmaking regularly for almost three years now, ever since a very sweet friend sparked my interest a few years back by giving me a stamp set. The fabulous paper arts community encouraged and helped me from there, so that that little spark has grown into a rather zany flame. ;)
When I'm not papercrafting, I'm playing with my family and friends, baking chocolate chip cookies (my fave!), reading, studying, or playing volleyball.
I am SO psyched to be a part of GCD Studios, and I can't wait to get started!

Now for something really special to me....this is a MUST READ!

During the DT call I received a really talented application and when I looked into it further I notice that this special person was only 16!!!!! She is only 16 and has so much talent, but because of US working laws I couldn't add her to the team. This just killed me and so I came up with a new plan. This is something that has never been done before....for any manufacture team

Over this next year GCD Studios will sponsor Agustina and help her grow in the industry. We will provide her with everything from paper to embellishments and the Chipart tool to paint.

WE at GCD Studios take great job in new talent and helping bring in new names to the industry. Throughout this next year Agustina will have a little post here and there when she turns in projects :)

I hope you love her as much as I do and support her as she grow!

Agustina Yornet

And here is her bio:

My name is Agustina and I am from Argentina! I have been making cardmaking for 3 years, I think as I am a Spanish speaker I can show your products to a whole new market! Here in Argentina I can´t find any kind of cardmaking supplies, so I have develop my creativity based on really simple elements, I believe that with different kinds of supplies I can create cards with another style, due to the fact I am used to make cards with any kind of thing. I'm 16 years old and I’m from Argentina. In my free time I paint and make card.

Gina Lideros

I am a military wife and mom raising two kids in Northern California. I currently works as a special projects

projects have been published in some of the industries hottest magazines and books. I am super excited about
joining the GCD crew!

Jennifer Chapin

My name is Jennifer Chapin and I'm excited to be on the GCD design team! I am a 27 year old wife and mama, living in Iowa. I have a daughter named Keira who will be two in May. She keeps us on our toes and is the primary subject of my scrapping. By day I work as a nurse, but after Keira goes to bed and on weekends, you'll find me in my scraproom. I am honored to be a part of this team and look forward to the coming year!

Guest Designers

I'm so excited about these girls!
I would have put them on the team, but there are only so many spots. They are that good to me!

Beth Moore

Diet Pepsi provides me with late night superpowers so that I can succumb to my paper crafting addiction after a day spent as a partner, mom, grandmother and slave to my menagerie of animals. At my house, where even the dogs get cat hair on them and animal fur might as well be condiment, I look forward to retreating to my craft room at the end of the day to spend time re-fueling my soul. I'm thrilled beyond measure to have this opportunity to work on the GCD Studios Team alongside so many talented Designers and to connect with other crafters who are as wildly enthusiastic about GCD Studios products as I am!

Tessa Buys

Hello! My name is Tessa Buys and I am an avid scrapbooker and crafter. As a professional dancer, I love the arts and am passionate about creating, whether it be with movement or paper. As a mom, I am equally passionate about preserving my family's memories. I scrapbook so that my kids have a tangible
record of my love for them. I also love the artsy, messy, creative side of scrapbooking and am always on the lookout for new things to try and be inspired by. I am thrilled to be a member of this team and am excited for a fabulous year!

Jennifer Larson

My name is Jennifer Larson, and I'm a Maine-born, Minnesota-living, Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan scrapper. I am married to the world's biggest Star Wars fan and am mother to two boys, the second and third biggest fans. I have been making cards since 1997 and scrapping since 2002, when I was pregnant with my first son. I love creative ways of using products beyond their original intention, and I love and adore misting, stitching, and stamping. When I'm not scrapping, I teach high school students English, garden, watch Bones, cross-stitch, read, and make really good cookies.
Mandy Koeppen

Hi I’m Mandy Koeppen. I am happily married to my best friend Louis we are rockin the suburbs in Michigan where we are raising our 3 children Teagan 8, Mavrick 7, and Avery 5. Christy Davis

My name is Christy Davis. I loved being a GCD guest designer on the blog last July, and thought the products and the atmosphere were so amazing to work with/for. :) I live in sunny Florida, and am married and have 3 children, ages 5, 3, and 1. I am a stay at home mom who teaches online for a local college, and I love scrapbooking as a creative outlet and break from the normal busyness of diapers, dishes, and grading. :) I am also thankful that I get to capture memories for my children to remember forever.

Marie Ramirez

My name is Marie Ramirez I am a studen and mother with 4 children, 1 soul mate and 2 kitties. I have been scrapbooking for about 6 1/2 years. I became addicted to scrapbooking when my Mother in Law passed away. She was the kindest, sweetest, loving woman I have ever met in my life. My children were very young. I wanted them to remember her like I did and I didn’t want to forget a single thing about the awesome mother, grandmother, person that she was. It has been a wonderful journey so far!

Valerie Bishop
Hey there everyone!! My name is Valerie Bishop and I'm beyond thrilled to be a part of the GCD Studio Design Team! I've been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 28 years (yikes!!) and we have three smart and beautiful children. They all bring such happiness and fun into my life! I got hooked on scrapbooking in 2006 when my youngest daughter had a "Scrapbook night" with her girl scout troop and her troop leader had all the newest scrapgoodies - I just had to have it all...hee!! I work at my local scrapbook store where I also teach classes as well as teach (scrapbook) classes through the local junior college - I am so blessed to be able to get paid to do what I love!! I've been on a few design teams and several of my projects have been published. I can't wait for this year with GCD Studio to begin - it's going to be a fun adventure - and those words are what I thrive on :) !!

Nicole Martel

Hi my name is Nicole Martel and I love to keep my work clean and simple but that doesn't mean my work is boring. I believe that by using the right photos and designs, simple projects can be so attractive. I began scrapping in January 2002 at a Creative Memories Crop. Scrapbooking is my passion; I honestly enjoy creating when I'm not spending time with my family or working. I am truly honored to be a part of this wonderful team and look forward to challenging myself as well as inspiring you.
Rebecca Keppel

Hi all! I am Rebecca Keppel--former corporate attorney turned SAHM, scrapbooking, cardmaking, gift creating, momographer living with my family in the East Valley suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. Although I have been "journaling" and taking tons of pictures my whole life, it wasn't until I saw scrapbooking as whole that everything clicked for me and the obsession began! Besides recording memories and playing with fun product, I love to learn new techniques and learn more about photography. My favorite way to add texture and dimension to my projects is by sewing (either hand or machine) because I love the homemade, unique touch it adds. I am beyond thrilled to have this opportunity to work with GCD Studios and Heidi and I am looking forward to a creative, productive, and fun year!

Saying good bye and hello to our 2010 team

Windy here....

Hi all! Its Windy here today to share my CHA projects. I got to
work with these fun lines...

Material Girls

This collection has such fun colors and patterns that it was really
easy to create fun cards that could be sent to a sister, daughter or
girl friend.

Now, I have to admit when I saw that I'd be creating with a boy
collection, I kind of froze... everything is girly in this household
and I have very few masculine papers in my collection, but Animal
Crackers Boy is so versatile that it was very easy to create these
cards... I even made a copy of the "Love U" card as a Valentine's Day
card for my husband.

All I can say about this collection, is that I LOVE it! Its just such
a fun holiday collection... the colors are great because you can go
traditional red & white to something different like my Merry
Christmas card. The paper pad even comes with that super cool wood
grain chip board that can be stamped with rubber stamps or the Chip Art Tool. So fun!

Lastly, I created a mini album using the new Melody Ross Soul Food collection and the Chip Art tool.
