Frame it

Happy November!!

This part of the year is always one of my favorites! The music, the colors, the lights, the presents....the list can go on and on! When Heidi gave us our theme for this month, I immediately had this project in mind. I saw Ali Edwards do something similar to this last year, and just absolutely loved it. It is a quick project that can immediately bring some holiday cheer into your home or someone else's home!

I used a cream colored cardstock as the background and cut it down to 8x10. I punched out 12 scalloped circles in Kraft cardstock; then, I used various other punches to punch out many circles from the "Christmas Sleigh" and the "Joyful Peace" Collections.

I put together each embellishment first and then laid them all out on my cream cardstock. Once I got them in the correct place, I adhered a pop-dot to the backs of the scalloped circles and stuck them on the cardstock. I then further embellished some of them with typed journaling strips and some with a little bit of bling.

I found the frame at a Dollar General store for a few dollars and wa-laa! A very easy Holiday project!!

  2. I should do one of these. I have a butterfly frame done like this. And it would make fun and inexpensive gifts. :)
