Roll them up tight!

Hi everyone!
Teri here, and I'm happy to be back on the GCD Studios blog today.
This time, I am bringing you a super easy and fun Christmas gift idea: A christmas bulb!
This could be one of the easiest Christmas gifts you'll ever make.
You'll need:
* Patterned paper
* A clear Christmas bulb
Here's what you do:
1. Cut several long skinny strips of patterned paper. I am using paper from GCD's Christmas Sleigh line.

2. Roll them up tight.

3. Slide them into the bulb. If they won't fit, use a pen gently push them in.

4. Repeat the process over and over until you have a completed bulb.

Here's how my bulb looked when I finished it.

To jazz it up for when I give it away, I made a small half box to slide the ornament in. Inside is a small piece of bubble wrap to keep it nice and safe.

That's all for now. I'll be back again soon!

  2. This is really cute. I use to do it with tinsel, but never thought of paper rolls.
