ReplyDeleteI am posting just for sharing since I just won a wonderful gift. Though I do love rub-ons.
ReplyDeleteI would use them on a wonderful page of my son and daughter on the beach along the Oregon coast. I would love to see the five petal flowers cut apart and used on different pale colored cardstocks then layered back together again. The swirly boarder punch would look great along the side or bottom of one of my photos and I love flourishes so I would probably cut the flourish at the bottom of the package, in half horizontally and use it on the top and bottom of a different pic or OHHH a journal box... ya.. that would look great.

Wow, it's no wonder they made the cut. They are absolutely beautiful. When I first saw them, I thought wintery Christmas cards and wintery layouts. Also, since I love to spend so much time at the lake, I could sure make good use of them on a cottage layout. What a great prize. Good luck to all!

ReplyDeleteI see a cute Easter layout using the borders above! We also go to the lake around July, I would use the Caribbean Blues rubons with those layouts.
ReplyDeleteObviously these would work GREAT on a layout, but I can also see them working really well on altered projects!! I have a birdhouse to alter & these would be REALLY cute as little accents!!
ReplyDeleteI would use them for a beach layout with my husband and me. It just seems like we relax and are more chill whenever we get to take a vacation to the beach! And sometimes the beach is like you are caught in a daydream! Very cute rubons by the way.
ReplyDeleteWell what's great about them is they could make several different projects. I would definitely use that little fish on a card. Maybe an encouragement card "Just keep swimming" or just a little greeting "Swimming by the say hi." What a fun little giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhile it is a Caribbean Blues titled package, it seems that you could also use most of the rub-ons for a Winter-themed card or LO as well! :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. I just got back from the beach and the fish and flower immediatly caught my eye so I would use them to document my Tampa Beach vacation with my honey. : )
ReplyDeleteHummm... I know this is supposed to be something "beachy"... hence the name "Caribbean Blues" and the fish and flowers, but I saw these rubons and had a totally different idea. An 8" x 8" acrylic wall hanging with a picture of the kids in the snow... the blues just called out "SNOW" to me!

ReplyDeleteI would use them for a layout of my two sons in the tub. The fish would be perfect for that. I could also use the row of swirls as a border for the picture...they look a little like bubbles!

ReplyDeleteThis may sound off the wall... and I'm not even sure it would work. I'm in the midst of decorating pointe shoes (painting old shoes and then embellishing them with all kinds of notions), and it just occured to me that if they were large enough (or I had 2 sheets), these would be very cool on one of the shoes.

ReplyDeleteyou know...I am a sucker for putting rub ons on my pictures..I totally rock this out and color ones are good for this too.. and sometimes I use for a border around my pictures..because I usually have to have a mat--a OCD of mine--but this helps my pictures stand out w/o using one--thanks for the heads up and candy!!

Naw really though...I would love to use them on a layout of Crater Lake. The scenery there is so serene and peaceful. These would go perfect for it!
The word CHILL and the little swirly flurry under it caught my eye instantly. I think I'd be doing a snow page, with snowflakes all around that flurry and the kids catching snowflakes on their tongues.

ReplyDeleteThey would be cute to make decor for the patio- use them on candle votives or even rub them onto ceramic or plastic flowerpots. And of course lo's, cards, and tags too!
