I wanted to showcase the chickadee in my layout, so I used a circle from the chipboard shapes by Melody Ross and created a unique frame for my photo. It was super easy to do! First, I gathered my chip art supplies, and next, I de-embossed a cute bird all around my chipboard piece. Next, I painted the chipboard piece white and when it dried, I adhered my photo in the middle.
I hope you are out enjoying the fall weather! Have a wonderful day!
I had so much fun working on this months assignment to use the fabulous chip art tags by Melody Ross. For my fall themed tag, I actually used two tags layered on top of each other. On the bottom tag, I first painted it brown and then I used my chip art tool to de-emboss a pattern. Next I used glimmer mist to give it an orange shiny finish. For the top tag, I painted it and then de-embossed a few falling leaves using the chip art tool and then put in a few drops of glimmer mist into each leaf. For my tree, I used a variety of gcd studios papers and free hand cut out some leaves.
I kept my halloween tag pretty simple. First, I painted it black and then de-embossed it with the chip art tool. I then added the sentiment, replacing the "o" with a gcd studios brad and added a cute little spider. The ghost I had in my halloween decor stash and I love how it looks like it is holding the tag. I plan on attaching this tag to a goodie bag of candy!
These are all so cool. I love the circle element, and tags...I'm addicted to what people can do with them. Thanks for posting!
