Just a Couple of Cute Cards
I think one of my favourite collections GCD showed off at CHA was Nostalgia. I love the combination of green, pink, orange, and yellow. Not to mention the fun patterns! For my first card, I wanted to make it a little more masculine and fall-inspired.
I focused on the lovely green striped paper and just added small squares of some other patterns to make my card pop. I rounded the corners so my card wouldn't look so sharp. Then finished the whole thing off with a tiny felt leaf and my sentiment. [Supplies: GCD Studios Nostalgia collection; Stamps- CSS Fall Frenzy; Ink- Dish All the Dirt Brown; Accessories- corner rounder punch, paper piercer, Copic Multiliner .3 black, yellow felt, CSS Leaflets die-cut, CSS Favor Flags die-cut]
This love card was a ton of fun to make! I would never think to combine these colors together, but I was inspired by that plaid paper and just went with it.
I added a little bit of piercing to the pink layer for interest. The sentiment and flower border is from this collection, too!
