Hope Banner for Spring

Good day and Happy Spring, everyone !
I'll start off with a post that is technique based, using Melody Ross Chip Art Tools, the chipboard Banner Kit and the Big Alphabet Set to create a Spring Banner.

Here are some essential mediums i used

Supplies

Chipboard Shapes - #559 Big Alphabet Set
Chipboard Shapes - #560 Banner Kit
Ornamental Stamps - #517 Mod Floral
Pattern papers - GCD Studios Homespun Chic Collection (Mod Flocking Back,Pink Redwork Front)
Pigment Ink (Olive)
Clear Glitter
Mod Podge
Gesso
Step 1 : Cover Banner (4 pieces) with Gesso and let dry.
Paint with another coating and set aside to dry.
Step 2 : Prepare Alphabet Chipboards by painting it with at least 2 coats of pink acrylic paint. Let dry.

Step 3 : When pink paint is dry, paint a layer of mod podge and pour a generous amount of clear glitter over each alphabets. Please make sure it covers the alphabets thoroughly. Shake off excess glitter. Set aside.

Step 4 : Now, I'm bringing your attention back to the banner pieces.
Here's the fun part ! Have your mallet, Chip Art Block, pigment ink and banner pieces within reach. Dip the stamp into the ink pad and deboss the image onto the chipboard banner.

*please note, i did not spritz with water. Coating the image with ink already moisten the chipboard. Further moist might damage the debossed image *
Step 5 : Arrange scallop shapes and cut out motifs onto each banner. Affix alphabet chipboards.

Step 6 :
Tie ribbon and seam binding between each banner pieces.
Do play around with the Chipboard Art Tools, get comfortable with it and in no time, i'm sure you'll find many possibilities creating with it !
Besides the Spring banner, i created 2 Cards using fresh spring colors.

Supplies :

Smoothie Shoppe Collection - Pinas (Front)
Others : paper doiley, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, vintage image, seam binding.
