 I am an Art teacher by day and a paper craft concept designer at night. I live with my husband and our little bird, Mr. Green in sunny California. I love making cards, layouts, gift items and trinkets, gift wrap and other fun paper crafted goods. I hope you are inspired by my work. The great thing about art is that it inspires more art! My name is Tracy Schultz and I have been creating for as long as I can remember. I started paper crafting just a few years ago and was "bitten" by the card-making bug. I love creating cards because I look at them like tiny works of art that can be mailed. I'm happily married and work in IT, so crafting is a stress relief for me. I love showing people how they can create works of art without spending a fortune on supplies- even by saving the tiniest of scraps ("quilt" cards using scraps are one of my favourite things to make!).

  My name is Tegan and I guess you could say I am a 'closet' scrapper! I have been scrapping for 10+ years, but never considered promoting my projects to the outside world. But things have changed! I JUST started a blog and look forward to getting a running start in the blogging world. I am so excited about finally sharing my creations!  I am a stay-at-home domestic 'diva' if you will. Shortly before our LSS closed, I taught a few classes which included carrot-shaped Easter favor boxes and the Prima canvas bag.  

        I love so many of the GCD products.  The Splendor collection, beautiful glass paperclips and stinkin' cute strawberries... Oh My! Creating projects with their supplies will be exciting and will help me expand my 'blogging world/ creativity". I am proud to be a member of the GCD Studios team.

 I am a wife, mom and my family and I live in Southern California. I love to Papercraft. I have been scrapbooking since 1999, but I fell in love with cardmaking about 4 years ago. I excited with the opportunity to work with the GCD company. I love their products and I love the chance to expand my creativity. I am also very outgoing and the best part of this hobby is meeting new all the wonderful people!

I always describe myself as the female version of Chandler! I am all about laughing, and even on darker days I do my best to "choose joy"! I have been scrapbooking since Mrs. Grossman stickers were IT, but started designing a couple years after my best friend opened up her scrapbooking store!

 

I am married with 3 kiddos (2 boys and a girl-they are 10, 9 and 8 years old! AHHH!)! We also have 3 dogs and a crazy cat (OH, and we don't want to forget the bird and turtle!) Before scrapbooking (and kids!) I worked in Emergency Veterinary Medicine as a RVT and worked for a marine lab as a trainer! (Dolphins, sea lions and sea otters!)

 

My weaknesses are Chai Tea Latte's, Jimmy Fallon (Hee!), sushi, chocolate cake, and an occasional Coke (regular please!)

 

I would describe my style as eclectic! It changes with my moods! But I LOVE to experiment with new techniques and really get artsey dirty once in awhile!! Sometimes I like to keep it simple, and sometimes I like to layer it up! I am always telling customers and students, there is really no wrong way to scrapbook! And "mistakes" are artistic opportunity! Make it your own!

Moving on to the talented....

Usually, when I throw out my name Guiseppa, most people never forget who I am.  I think having a unique name has been fun and really helpful in many aspects of my life, including scrapbooking...like I said, most people never forget the name.  Some people also call me Seppa (its' just a little easier).  Anyway...I answer to both.  My name is originally Italian, but comes form a Danish grandmother.   

I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years now.  I jumped on the scrapbooking band wagon when it was so new, so I have seen a lot of changes in the industry.  I spend a lot of time scrapbooking (one of the benefits of having children in school all day).  I have now created over 70 albums since I began.  I enjoy scrapbooking so much that in the last year I have joined several design teams.  I have been married to my number one supporter Sam for nearly15 years now and we have 3 children; Braden  age 15, Janica 13, and our little Angel Sterling passed away seven years ago from "The Bubble Boy Disease."  Never has scrapbooking meant so much to me as when he passed away.  I have all of those wonderful memories of him preserved through scrapbooking.  I like to think of myself as a clean scrapbooker, but I love dimension on my pages and find myself going through huge amounts of pop dots. 

When I am not scrapbooking, I enjoy spending time with my family.  You can often find us in the mountains camping, hiking, fishing and exploring on our 4 wheeler.  I also enjoy reading and traveling.

I have always loved GCD's paper collections.  I feel that the products reflect my style of scrapbooking. I love that I have this opportunity to create with GCD's products and share it with others here on the GCD blog.  So, take a moment and check out my blog...

I'm Mary Ann Jenkins, from sunny Southern California. I am so very blessed to have a wonderful family, and I love recording the memories and stories we create in our everyday lives. I've been scrapbooking since 1986, after hearing a commercial on the radio about learning how to preserve my family history. Although my style has changed since the day I bought my first pair of decorative scissors, my passion for the hobby has never ever changed. I like to follow trends that come along, but still like to remember why I started scrapbooking way back when. I love knowing that I will be supporting and work with GCD Studios as part of the design team because first and foremost, I love playing with paper and glue. I also love sharing my passion for paper crafting, and enjoy seeing others get as excited about it as I am.

A fun addition to the GCD Studios team

Hi my name is Pam Callaghan and I am a huge fan of GCD Studios! I have been scrapbooking for about nine years now and I love every aspect of it. Patterned paper is my biggest passion along with dimensional embellishments to go with it. I also love to create template and sketches. I created my blog Ideas for Scrapbookers about 2 1/2 years ago which contains lots of ideas from not just me but talented contributors. I tend to create the sketches and templates and also teach design tips. I also have a personal blog, My Little Creative Studio, where I blog more about my family and life.  I have been published in just about every scrapbook magazine and was a contributing writer for Creating Keepsakes Magazine in October 2008.  I am so excited to be part of the team at GCD Studios!! Please Welcome our newest Altered gal

I am a wife, and stay-at-home mom to two kiddos ages 5 and 7.  When I am not taking care of other household duties, I can be found in my craft room getting all gluey and glittery!  I love colors and printed paper and love to combine unexpected patterns for a fresh, new look.  I just adore the prints and patterns in GCD’s new collections! A simple sentiment and a well placed embellishment or two can make a card or project look fantastic! I think it is really exciting and inspiring to connect with a community of other paper crafters on a regular basis.  I am delighted to be a part of a team that inspires and encourages others to keep paper crafting!  I actively maintain a paper crafting blog with a growing following and regularly update my Facebook and Twitter accounts dedicated to paper crafting.

Oh Happy Day Friday!

Thank goodness it's Friday!

Today I have the Oh Happy Day collection to share and you can see why I named it that. I'm a fan of bright and happy colors :)

Another busy day at GCD

 We are almost ready for the new DT announcement. Which  takes place on Monday, March 12th. We will be doing give aways and lots of other fun stuff.

The calls went out for the DT

We have talked it through and the calls actually went out yesterday.

I know that it was early and I said that we were going to do the calls on the "9th", but every year it's rush...rush and this year I wanted to give the new team time to get paper work, photos and bios back to me.

Today I have the CHA work using Splendor. I LOVE THIS collection and I love the designer even more. Heather Tozzi is a dear friend of mine and I truly love our chats while we work on upcoming GCD stuff.
