A Dreamy Layout

Hi There!  Rochelle here to share with you a truly girlie-girl layout!

Pure Bliss collection had the perfect papers for this photo.  Here my daughter is in her own little world.   The title, "Dream a Little Dream" came from the Pure Bliss Happy Hoops paper and worked well!   I also used different pieces of Pure Bliss scraps to make the lollipop flower. It was simple, I just free hand cut a bunch of different size circles from different papers. I then distressed the edges and crumbled them in my hands.  After that I layered and placed an awesome brad in the center.  The leaves were cut from scraps of the Bows paper. Here's are some close ups:
GCD supplies: Pure Bliss Papers - Alphabet (#2019), Happy Hoops (#2018), Bows (#2028), Journal tags (#2025) and Crossword (#2021).  Also used Pure Bliss Embellishments - Die Cut Borders (#2036), Paper Clips, (#2035) Brads (#2034), and label stickers (#2033). Other: Twine.

10 Reasons Why

Hi there friends. Our children takes up the majority of our scrapbook pages. And sometimes it gets a little redundant. I mean, they have yearly birthdays, first day of school, holiday events and everything in between. That’s why with this layout I decided to write a special letter to my daughter to change out things a little bit. This page was actually inspired by the title that I had cut out from a pattern paper in the Pure Bliss collection then I wrote 10 reasons why I wanted my little sweetie to never stop dreaming.

I wanted to make this “letter” to my daughter very personal so I handwritten my journaling.
I dressed up my title circle with epoxy dots and adhered it with foam adhesive to add dimension to it.
Little bits of fun stickers and pins finished off my page.

Dream a little dream layout

A Layout About Your Child's Personality

Good morning!! Suzanna here sharing a layout with you about my daughter's personality. She has A LOT of personality for a little girl. The biggest feature of all the bits and pieces that make her who she is, is her enthusiasm. No matter what we do (or don't do) she always the most enthusiastic of the bunch! I can always count on Mia to get us excited or find interest in the most mundane of activities.

There are a couple of special details of this layout that I would like to call your attention to. Wanting to use as much of this collection as possible, my solution to not having small enough letters for my title was to cute up the alpha found on the back side of the Crossword paper. I wanted a coordinating scallop border for the pre-cut border so traced the existing scallop onto the backside of Dainty Floral and used my Xacto to fussy cut.

Supplies: Pure Bliss collection - Dizzy Heart #2022, Crossword #2021, Journal Tags #2025, Happy Hoops #2018, Dainty Floral #2024, Brads #2034, Label Stickers #2033, Die Cut Borders #2036; Silhouette Cameo, font: Billabong Suzanna Lee Badge photo 2013-DT-Badge-Suzanna-Lee_zps66db7b91.jpg

A Random Card For Love

I have three kids,
I love them in spite of the
fact that they are all teenagers. :)

Most everyday I let them know
that I think of them, but sometimes
it's nice to go the extra mile...
So I made a card for my oldest daughter
who will be on her way to college soon.

I used the gorgeous Pure Bliss Collection including:
borders, 6 x 6 paper, paper clips & labels.

It's fun to mix-up the sticker and make them
say something all-together your own,
"today you are my happy" is just right for me.

Paper clips don't always have to clip papers together, right?
This paper clip and arrow sticker lead your eye directly to the greeting.

Happy creating!

Supplies: Pure Bliss Borders, 6 x6 paper, paper clips, & labels;
Tiny Attacher (Tim Holtz), Paper Piercer Pack (Stampin' Up!), Corner Chomper (WeRMemory Keepers), Natural Card Stock (Stampin' Up!)

Her Little Personality

Hello everyone! Christina here. I've got a new layout to share with you all. I made it using the Pure Bliss collection. Pure Bliss is the most beautiful collection I've ever worked with it! I love the soft tones, and the rustic feel of the papers.

This layout is all about my daughter's personality. I really wanted to document the type of person she is as a toddler. I printed out the journaling on some vellum, and simply made the personality traits stand out a little more by bolding them. I cut the title out with my Silhouette Cameo. As you can see, I created a visual triangle around the photos using the title and two wooden buttons. Each part of the visual trinagle has two similar groups. That beautiful floral patterned paper, and the wooden embellishments. Creating these types of visual triangles and groupings makes the page "flow".

Let It Shine!

Hi there! Today I'm sharing a layout I made for CHA using the new Charleston collection. I used my X-acto knife to create the sunburst pattern on this page and layered patterned paper underneath.

I embellished the edges with a bit of machine stitching.

Dress Up That Plant

Happy Friday to you!  Amanda here today with a friendly reminder that Mother's Day is only two days away.  Everyone loves to get flowers on Mother's Day, even if they claim they don't care to receive any.  Trust me (and my husband) on that one.

While I am a sucker for a bouquet of fresh cut flowers, I also adore receiving and giving plants as gifts.  Give mom some pretty annuals and she will have blooms all season long.  As a bonus, you may even offer to plant them for her.

I die cut a box to fit the container of pansies I had purchased at the store.  Forgive the lack of blooms because at the time I photographed this project, it was still too cold to plant annuals.  This sad little plant was all I could find.

I wrapped the box with a pre-cut border strip and added a label with some darling alpha stickers.

I stuck a decorative paperclip into the soil to make the project a little more happy.  Plus, it is reusable and mom is sure to love that.

May you have a joyous Mother's Day!

Supplies: From the Pure Bliss collection: Pink Honeycomb 2023; Alpha Stickers 2032; Label Stickers 2033; Paperclips 2035; Die-cut Borders 2036

Celebrate Mother's Day With A Card.

Hello everyone! Nina here today to share a Mother's Day card made with Pure Bliss collection. I love the sweet and sassy paper from this collection! Ikat, strips, hexagon and arrows, anyone?

Supplies: All paper from Pure Bliss 6x6 pad #2031; pink ribbon brad from Pure Bliss Brads #2034; pink arrow and green strips stickers from Pure Bliss Labels #2033

I love that the accents paper was scaled down for the 6x6 pad as well. I stamped the female silhouette and "mom" directly on the label accent piece. The calendar piece is perfect for any holiday or special days that you are making your card for. I highlighted "May" and "12" for Mother's Day this year.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

A Bouquet of Pencils

My children and I are super lucky to have great teachers every year.  I really appreciate all the patients and support they have.  So what better way to show gratitude for awesome teachers then to make them a gift.  Lalo here and today I'm sharing a little handmade Teacher Gift using the adorable "Pure Bliss" collection from GCD Studios.
It's a little paper crafted gift to dress up a teacher's desk.

Here's a lovely post-it holder for all the notes they have to write.

A little something to hold all the pens and pencils they use.

There's so much to love about the "Pure Bliss" collection from GCD Studios.  My favorite is that row of books pattern paper.  How perfect for a teachers gift.
