GCD Studios 2013 Design Team Call

We are looking for fresh faces and talented girls to fill our 2013 team. We are looking for:

• Motivated team members
• A clean well presented style of Artsy, Shabby, Simple, Modern, Whimsy and much more
• Great photography skills-True colors, no sunspots or shadows and so on.
• You've got to love the product! This is super important! We have 9 new beautiful lines from this winter's CHA '13.
• Bring your personality to the team. We love drama free, fun, and outgoing gals.
• Ability to work fast, if needed (around show times we might need extra work done and working fast is a plus :)
• Assignments turned in on time.

Scrapbooking is all about being creative, capturing memories, and having fun! When it comes to our design team, we feel that our members should do just that. "Be Creative, capture memories, and HAVE FUN"!

Spots to fill:

This year, we have 3 returning DT gals. We are looking to add 13 new team members, to make a total of 16th DT Gals. We will be looking for

• Altered Item Gals
• Card Gals
• Layout Gals

This is what you'll need to turn in:

• A short paragraph about yourself, explaining who you are and "why you want to work with us"
• 3-4 projects of your best work
• An updated Resume
• A link to your gallery and blog
• List of any teams you are on right now or responsibilities
• Your contact information (Phone number please)

Each month the GCD Gals will be asked to create 3 items from our many new collections.

Please keep in mind that we are reserving 3 spots for "new up & coming crafters". This means that these spots will be "reserved" for unpublished gals (which I will teach them the ropes of the publishing world). We find great joy in new talent! So, even if you feel that you're not ready to submit to a design team calls, here is your chance! We want to see your work!

We have a lot of fun things lined up for our 2013 team, so don't miss out on submitting.

• Open call goes from Feb 1st and will close on Monday-Feb 25th (at Midnight)
• U.S. Applications ONLY
• The new DT members will be contacted by phone on March 1st 2013
• The team will be announced Friday March 8th 2013

Our CHA Winter 2013 Booth

As promised, here are the CHA winter 2013 booth photos. I LOVE this show and being able to decorate for it. We had boxes filled with tea cup and projects, plus let's not forget to mention the grass ;) By day one, we were almost done with the set up and it was amazing how fast the walls went up.



We had so many cute details throughout the booth, but I REALLY loved these paper lanterns.





We had fresh flowers, all throughout the booth.

What's a garden without rocks? So yes...we even had rocks all over the place. Cleaning them up was fun. lol

We also had the BEST group of girls with us. Mary Ann, Nina and Wendi helped out so much!!! I always love being able to hang out with the DT gals.

We're Back and Hello!

Hello and we're back!

We decided to take a little break after CHA, being that it was so much "non stop" work! We visited with new and old friends, sold a lot of product and made a lot of make and takes. Right now we are putting together the Feb issue of The PaperCut Magazine and it will have templates from the make and take, who is returning on the DT for 2013-2014 and much more.

Also some BIG news, our annual DT call will be up on the blog on Feb 1st. Every year gets better and better for GCD...and this year will be our best! We have so MANY new lovely collections and fun ideas for the blog.

The second I got the call, I drove in house. The papers are amazing and the colors

are spot on. This show is going to be amazing for GCD and our booth will be so party.
I can't wait to reveal our theme on Monday!
