Saying good bye to our DT Gals

Hello everyone,

Boy... this past year has been amazing! So much growth in such little time! I'm so grateful for everyone's support and following our team’s work/blog.

As you read over our new DT call (that will be posted on feb 1st)... I hope you feel inspired to try out. I can remember back when I first started submitting, I felt that "no one would pick little o'l me for a team". I want you all to put that thought out of your mind and please do try out! It never hurts to try... right?!

Finally!

After days and days of CRAZY hard work and my trip to the ER for Bronchitis (because I over worked myself lol), our booth is finally ready for the opening of CHA today! THANK HEAVENS!!!!


While we listened to Jack Johnson play on a team members iPhone, we placed all the walls, projects, papers and embellies into place. We even had a few funny moments that helped us keep going.

Hung (our warehouse guy) won the award for "find the #9 first". It was in the middle of the sticker sheet.

Once everything was in place and cleaned up, I was the last person there so I could take these photos. I'm so proud of our team and most of all... of our Gail (In house team member)! About a month ago, many of our plans fell through for renting standard black walls. Gail moved right on to plan B and in 3 weeks had all our walls, make & take table, and swing display custom built. It all looks soooo amazing!

SO, I AM OVERJOYED TO INTRODUCE OUR 2010 WINTER CHA BOOTH!

CHA update

I have been going non-stop this past few days. I've been planning projects out and helping with all the small details, to make everything perfect for the GCD Studios booth. I'm so excited that CHA is less then a week away.


On Friday and Saturday, I'll be teaching these make and takes.

If you are going to be at CHA, come find me in our Booth 3785 :)

Because of all the crazy work... I'll be a little MIA from our blog (just so you know). I will be posting stuff about CHA next week, so stay tuned.

Also I'll be posting our new DT Call on February 1st, so get those resumes ready!

Julie Overby

Bio:

Hi, my name is Julie Overby. I am a Canadian scrapbooker who married the love of her life (who happened to be an American!) We settled in the U.S. and now have three beautiful children who are often my greatest inspiration.

My passion for scrapbooking was born out the desire to preserve our wedding photos. Since then, it has evolved into a love for patterns and designs, paper and ribbon and a way for me to express myself. I never would have guessed 15 years ago that I would end up being someone who creates on a daily basis! Some of my art can be seen in CARDS, Scrapbooktrends, Memory Makers Idea Book, and CardMaker. It is a complete honor to be designing for GCDStudios this month. Thanks so much for having me!
