Bonjour Week: Father's Day Layout

Well Hello and Bonjour!!!! That's right, it's Bonjour week here at GCD Studios and I just can't say enough wonderful things about this line. I was super excited to be able to work with it, I just adore the color combo going on.
I created a Father's Day page, which also just happens to be right around the corner. It's the perfect time to give credit to all those wonderful dads out there, who give so much to our families and work so hard. I have been very blessed in my own life, to have a stellar father example to me and also to have the best husband ever and that is the father to our children.
Here is my page about my husband and his role as a dad:
And who says you can use flowers on a boy/ guy layout?? I say go for it!! and why not!! I fussy cut some of the sweet flowers from the Ooh La La paper and also added some glossy accents on them to give a bit of texture:
Next I fussy cut several of the smaller flowers and added some blue Stickles to accent the color of the flower centers:

Of course I wanted to let my sweet honey know what an amazing dad I think he is, so my layout wouldn't be complete without lots of journaling. But once I designed my layout, I realize I was out of room for some journaling and realized that a sentence of two just wasn't enough justice for the page. I added a hidden tag of journaling with my feelings for "the best dad ever."
I also topped off the page with some pennants and added some machine sewing here and there through out the page:
So take an extra moment, and scrap a page for that special man in your life. Journal away your sweet feelings and remind them how amazing they are and what they mean to you. Then, while your at it, add some flowers to your guy page, why not.. right?
