Ever look at your patterned paper stash and think, "Gosh, this could use a little sparkle?" Jewels are easy, pretty and fun way to just that. Let me show you two ways I've used them lately!
Believe it not, this sparkly little number was pretty tame before I added the jewels to it. I placed five silver gems at a time randomly in lines on the card's patterned paper strips. I loved how they look all stacked up.
And then I came in and added a few red solo red and larger silver gems. I also used jewels to sauce the patterned paper on this sweet little card.
I fussy cut the strawberries from patterned paper (from GCD Studios' Country Charm collection), adding gems on top of them.
Then I brought the circles and berries together by placing gems between them. And you'll notice, I placed those gems right where two paper pieces meet up. Love that look! Supplies: Country Bloom paper - Country Charm; Strawberry Jam paper - Country Charm; Floral Field paper - Country Charm; Sweet Floral paper - Country Charm; Picnic Basket paper - Country Charm See you again soon!
