Sunflower info

Step one)

Take one piece of the Grafix Clear Lay and cut a circle (the size of your choice)

Step Two)

With a craft knife scratch lines all over the circle

Step Three)

Take yellow paint and rub it into the scratches on the circle and then wipe away the extra paint

Step Four)

Paint on brown paint and let dry. Once dry adhere to the flower peddles :)


Super simple right, but fun?!

Review:

I liked the way the epoxy stayed "soft", there was no cracking, it was easy to adhere, and repeel to reposition. As for the alpha stickers, LOVE all the glitter on them, and the glitter stays on... its not going anywhere. However, they smell badly like chemicals... if you have sensitivity to certain smells, you may not like these. I felt like I was going to get a headache from the smell... so I peeled off the letters I wanted to use then shoved the stickers back in the pkg while I worked on my cards. Overall, I enjoyed working with the products, with the only 'con' being the smell of the alphas. ;)

Heidi's Thoughts:

It's funny Carla pointed out the smell. It's true, they do have a smell... when you first take them out of the bag. GCD uses a really starting glue, that keeps the glitter on 100%!!! DON'T WORRY... after about a day, the smell will go away :)

Scrapbooking from the Inside Out... GIVE AWAY!!!

Review:

I received the Morning Glory Collection Pack and absolutely loved the patterns and colors. All the papers were gorgeous and very unique from what I've seen in other lines, which is always a plus for me. Some of the alphas did break as I was trying to pull them gently off the backing, but for the most part they worked really well and stayed down once I got them on. Overall, I would rate this pack very highly. Oh, and one of my favorite things was that it came with an acetate sheet that was gorgeous. I just wish that there were two sheets of that and two sheets of the die-cut tags....there never seems to be enough of those!! As for my project, my assignment was to create something for a baby boy, baby shower gift. I dressed up a plain gift bag, made a photo album, a moments journal to write down all of baby's moments, a holder for baby blankies and one for cloth diapers. And of course, no gift is complete without a card. I did all of this and still had some leftover for layouts:):) I hope you enjoy! I know I sure did! And Thanks again to Heidi and GCD Studios for letting me be a product tester!

I asked Jessi to create a baby shower gift set and here it is :) I think is did a GREAt job ANd she even found time to scrap a layout. Thanks Jessi!

IT'S GIVE AWAY TIME!!!

Great Gift Bags!

Bio about me:
My name is Wendy Kwok. I live in Sunny Singapore.......... where the scrapping here is sooo vibrant. When our LSS brings in New Arrivals every Thurs, the scrappers queue and buy stuff like there is no economic downturn. In fact, things fly off the shelves and some stuff goes out of stock within the first 10 mins of opening.
I started scrapping in 2003, but not involved in the forums and online galleries till Aug 2008. From then, some of my LOs have been published in online magazines and 2 coming up in CK and Memory Makers Idea Book. I won several online challenges like OLW. I guess that makes me a "new, up & coming" scrappers.
My style is a fun mix........ but you will definitely see trims, lace, ribbons in my LOs and projects. Just love the texture it adds .

Using a mix of papers from Bright skies, Canta, Chic Bebe and Cosette. I love to combine different patterns and colours.

2) LO "One destiny"
Using all Paris Nights papers........ love the elegance of these papers.

My name is Jill Cornell and I live with my husband in Windsor Heights, Iowa.
