Father's Week: A Gift In A Bag

I'm not sure about you, but on Father's Day around here, a lot of the dads get gift cards! Mainly because it's hard to buy for someone who has pretty much everything they need ;) Today I've made a little tag, sack and card set you can use to hold your next gift card!

I thought the Bonjour collection would be great for a masculine project. The greens, blues and browns paired with the plaid pattern are awesome!

For accent, I used a few wood embellishments along with chipboard letters in colors that worked with these papers. Star punches are great for masculine projects too!

I know some people can have problems making cards for guys, but my advice is to keep the design simple and add just a few embellishments that aren't too girly or frilly. If you don't have a stamp with the sentiment you need, get creative with your computer and letter stickers!

For the inside of the card, I created a little pocket for my gift card to go into. You'll want to use some strong adhesive, such as Scor-tape, or you can even stitch the pocket on with your sewing machine.

Thanks for stopping by today!
