inspired by Autumn

Hi, Kim here. This month Heidi challenged us to get inspired by Autumn, because of course the northern hemisphere is moving into their colder months now as we are moving into Summer.

Most of the rest of the team are working with some of the great chipboard tags that GCD makes. However, I was asked to do a layout and this is what I came up with ...

theme - got you (1 of 3)

I didn't worry about themes of papers that I had, I simply looked at colours to find those that best suited the autumn feeling that I was trying to achieve. I ended up using papers from a Christmas range (the stripe and red dot) and Independence (cream pattern). When combined with autumn leaves photos, I think they very much have an autumn feel.

The button (Artsy Urban) and star (chipboard range) are also GCD products.

Here is a detail shot ...

theme - got you (2 of 3)

So if you are working with theme photos, but don't have an appropriate range on hand, try focusing on the colours instead.

Cheers
Kim
